Procedure 2 – Add new account to Android with Outlook app

To ADD new mail account:


Important Note: With the move to the new email server, we are also standardizing the way all employees access email from their mobile devices for security and continuity. We no longer support accessing company email through the default mail app on mobile devices.

If you do not already have the Outlook app for your Samsung Galaxy S8, please visit the Google Play Store on your Android device and and download it before you begin this procedure. (Search for “Outlook” in the Google Play Store.)

Step 1 of 4

Open the Outlook mail app.

If there were no other accounts in your Outlook app, Click “Get Started“, otherwise, go to Settings > Add Account > Add email Account.

Go to Settings

Select Add Account


Step 2 of 4

Enter your full email address, then tap Continue.

Enter your email address.


Step 3 of 4

Enter your email account password and tap Sign In or >Next.

Enter your password for your email account.


Step 4 of 4

Outlook may request permission to access your calendar, contacts, etc. Tap Yes or Allow.


Procedure Complete!

Congratulations You are now fully connected to the new email server and can now send and receive email.
